Book Club

Thanks for visiting our book club corner.

I’ve been a member of a book club for several years. What a great experience! Once a month we get together at a member’s home to discuss the book we’ve been reading. Our discussions range from a critique of the book itself—plot, characters, structure, style, etc.—to a general discussion of the issues raised in the story. I always look forward to a wonderful gathering of good friends and exciting conversation.

Now that I’ve published my first novel, American River: Tributaries, I’ve enjoyed the thrill of having book clubs select MY book to read! When I’ve given book talks, I’ve been pleased that people come up afterward and tell me “This book would be perfect for my book club!”

I would love the opportunity to connect with book clubs that choose to read American River. If possible, I’d be pleased to meet with you in person. Or we can connect via email, phone, or Skype.
